Long-Pole Stems
Long-pole stems shorten the bottom-out travel by ~0.5mm. That compressed throw lands harder and shorter — a tight, percussive pop instead of a spread-out clack. The single most important factor.

How Poppy Works
Impact: Critical
Long-pole stems shorten the bottom-out travel by ~0.5mm. That compressed throw lands harder and shorter — a tight, percussive pop instead of a spread-out clack. The single most important factor.
Impact: High
Poppy needs internal case resonance for each pop's short tail. The build uses only thin plate foam and skips bottom case foam, letting the air gap amplify the snap.
Impact: Medium–High
The smaller the case, the tighter the chamber, the cleaner each pop reads. Compact builds give poppy its signature individual-pop quality.
Impact: Medium
Medium-to-high stiffness is key — too-soft plates absorb the impact and rob the pop of its character. Most poppy builds use 1.5mm PC or 1.0mm aluminum.
Find Your Sound
All loudness values measured under ESS-2026 protocol at the typist's ear, average sustained typing at 60 WPM. Variance ±2 dB.
Sound & Typing Experience
Recorded in EPOMAKER Sound Lab with calibrated microphones. The same method we use to tune every product.

Poppy comes from long-pole stems in a compact case with thin plate foam, concentrating each keystroke into a short, snappy pop — no modifications needed.
Browse Switches
A linear Hall Effect switch for magnetic keyboards — a light 30gf initial force with a smooth, low-noise glide and a quick, snappy return.
The long-pole reference: a 20.5mm spring with a 38±5gf operation force into a 45±5gf bottom-out — light, fast, and snappy, with the early bottom-out that makes the pop.
Switch Comparison
The F65 is engineered with a five-layer sound and shock-absorbing design, including two layers of Poron foam.
